Teaching and academics

Advisors are available for both in-person and virtual appointments.

Health and Wellness Clinic
Clinic and counselling services are available in-person or remotely by appointment.

Open, with COVID-19 residence rules. Self-isolation accommodation available. Visit UBCO Student Housing.

General services

Working

Effective: April 11, 2022

Campus remains open, including student housing, student services, and all libraries.

Managers and supervisors are encouraged to be flexible in allowing remote work, where academic or operational requirements permit; however, where in person work remains necessary, remote work arrangements may not be possible.


Research

Effective: April 11, 2022

On-campus
On-campus research and scholarly activity is currently managed at the Faculty level. Any changes to on-campus and in-person research will be aligned with Provincial Health guidelines.

Fieldwork
Permitted, following process at the Faculty level. Visit Fieldwork.

In-person research involving human participants
Consult the Office of Research Ethics website for the latest guidance and updates. Contact the UBCO-Behavioural Research Ethics Board (BREB) for specific consultations.


Events

Effective: April 11, 2022

Status
