Doors open following building boom

January–March 2013

The landscape of campus changed and the student learning environment took a giant leap forward when two major buildings opened. In January, the 17,200-square-metre Engineering Management Education (EME) building officially opened. At $68 million, the EME building was the largest single project undertaken as part of the campus master plan. Two months later, the four-storey, 7,800-square-metre Arts and Sciences Centre opened, featuring new classrooms, research and teaching labs, offices, student commons, and two large lecture theatres.
