Working on Campus

Update on Winter Session, Term 2: UBC has made the decision to continue to deliver the majority of programs online until February 7. UBCO’s campus remains open, including student housing, student services, and all libraries.

Managers and supervisors are encouraged to be flexible in allowing remote work, where academic or operational requirements permit; however, where in person work remains necessary, remote work arrangements may not be possible. For more information, see the January 12 UBC Broadcast.

Phased Approach for Return

On June 8, UBC announced a phased approach for the return to campus for faculty and staff.

Safety Requirements

When working on campus, the Campus Rules and COVID-prevention guidelines must be followed. A COVID-19 UBC Safety Planning Framework has been developed to align with BC’s Restart plan.
