Faculty of Education celebrates 25 years of teaching

The Faculty of Education marked 25 years of providing teacher education in the Okanagan with a two-day event for alumni that included the inaugural presentation of the Excellence in Teaching Award. Teacher education began in 1989 with the Faculty of Education at Okanagan College and evolved to its current identity at UBC’s Okanagan campus. In those 25 years, teacher education has been delivered to more than 1,900 educators.
