Medical students start studies

The pioneering first class of 32 MD students in UBC’s Southern Medical Program began studies at UBC’s Okanagan campus in the Reichwald Health Sciences Centre. SMP students take their first term of classes in Vancouver and then spend the balance of the four-year MD program studying and training in communities throughout the BC Interior.
