Flags on UBC’s Okanagan campus will be lowered on Friday, December 6 to mark the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. The School of Engineering is hosting a vigil and memorial for the 14 Not Forgotten on Friday, December 6 from 12 to 1 p.m. in the Richard S. Hallisey Atrium and all are invited.

A team of engineering students is working to develop a personal belongings cart—a movable and securable buggy with lights and locks that can hold a homeless person’s possessions.
