Six tips for a successful school year

1. Take care of your mind and body

Not feeling yourself? Talk to someone at Student Wellness. It can be hard to ask for help, but it gets easier with support.

Stay active. Keep up with your fitness regimen or even start a new one at UBC Recreation.

2. Find food on campus

Explore where to eat on campus—whether it’s a coffee pick-me-up or an end-of-day meal. And keep an eye out for food trucks parked along University Way.

View the campus map to find directions.

3. Relieve stress

Discover a relaxed environment. Break for lunch, do schoolwork and connect with others at a UBCO Collegia space.

4. Manage your courses and important deadlines

If you’re dropping or withdrawing from a class, be sure to change your registration before the deadline. For dates and important deadlines, view the 2025/26 Academic Calendar.

Need support? Contact an advisor.
