Getting Around

Events

Visit the UBC Okanagan events page for more back-to-school events.

Five things to get your year off to a great start!

1

Get the most from class

There is no substitute for attending a class in person, where you can ask questions and engage in thoughtful conversation.

If you need to change your registration, do it before the Drop/Withdrawal deadlines.
Contact an advisor for help.

2

Access learning support

3

Relax & take a breather

UBCO Collegia spaces are a home-away-from home for commuter students—a place to relax, eat lunch, do schoolwork, or connect with friends.

Watch for super cute pooches from the B.A.R.K. (Building Academic Resilience Through K9’s) program.

4

Fuel Your Body

Food trucks or something from the grill. Find some eats around campus.

Keep on top of your fitness regime—or maybe start a new one—with UBC Recreation.

It’s okay not to be okay. Reach out to Health & Wellness Counselling if you need support.

5

Find Your People

Make connections with like-minded people and forge new friendships.
