Research Remotely

There are no restrictions on research that can be safely conducted remotely and in accordance with Provincial Health guidelines.

Permitted, following process at the Faculty level. Visit Fieldwork.

In-person research involving human participants
Consult the Office of Research Ethics website for the latest guidance and updates. Contact the UBCO-Behavioural Research Ethics Board (BREB) for specific consultations.


Working Remotely

Effective: December 22, 2021

Faculty and staff responsible for in-person teaching, learning, student support and other activities for the 2021/22 Winter Session are on campus as required. Work is being completed under the COVID-19 UBC Safety Planning Framework.
