Research Remotely

There are no restrictions on research that can be safely conducted in accordance with Provincial Health guidelines.

Permitted, following process at the Faculty level. Visit Fieldwork.

In-person research involving human participants
Consult the Office of Research Ethics website for the latest guidance and updates. Contact the UBCO-Behavioural Research Ethics Board (BREB) for specific consultations.


Working Remotely

Remote and on-campus work in place in accordance with UBC’s Remote Work Pilot Program. UBC will formally adopt hybrid work; see the June 28, 2022 announcement.
