Prime Minister Justin Trudeau hosts Town Hall at UBCO

More than 2,500 filled UBC Okanagan’s gymnasium for an evening Town Hall event hosted by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau—a UBC alumnus (BEd’98). The free public event attracted newly arrived UBCO students, campus staff and faculty, and the local Okanagan community. Also in the crowd were 180 federal Members of Parliament, in Kelowna for a government caucus meeting. This was Trudeau’s first visit to a UBC campus as Prime Minister.
