The Commons building opens

The $35-million “Commons” facility opens boasting a spectacular 400-seat classroom, hundreds of new study areas, a digital technology centre, a graduate student commons and a new café. Students contributed nearly $10 million to the project, paving the way for future generations to enjoy a world-class learning experience in a remarkable setting.
